Studio inquiries and requests to put a date and studios on hold are regularly received at Album Studios. As a studio hold is not considered confirmed until the 50% non-refundable deposit is processed and the appropriate studio reservation is issued by Album Studios, a 2nd holding client may challenge the 1st holding client through the following steps:
If a client is 2nd in line for a studio, they may request to ‘push’ or ‘challenge’ the 1st holding client to confirm or release. Album Studios will notify the 1st holding client that their hold is being pushed. A credit card on file is required in order to initiate the push.
The 1st holding client will have the opportunity to secure the date. Failure to confirm or release within a 24-48 hour deadline as determined by Album Studios will result in the loss of the hold, and the studio will go to the 2nd holding client.
Upon gaining a studio via push, the client must submit a Certificate of Insurance, and will be charged a 50% non-refundable deposit to confirm the booking.
